Giants Rookie Abdul Carter Joins Malik Nabers in Pushing for Odell Beckham Jr. Signing With Blunt 2-Word Message

NFL veteran Beckham Jr.'s Instagram post stirs pot and prompts campaigning messages from current Giants to pour in.

As the New York Giants continue to rebuild, is it possible a familiar face finds himself back in the Big Apple?

With a clear plan to acquire young and veteran talent, 2025 looks to be a trending upward year for the Giants. After the addition of several tenured players, one of New York’s beloved ex-wide receivers may be hinting at a big move.

Ex-Giants Wideouts’ Instagram Post Takes Social Media World by Storm

It has been nearly 11 years since Odell Beckham Jr. made what many believe to be the most outstanding catch of all time. The jaw-dropping display of skill and athleticism came as he reached over a Dallas Cowboys defender to send MetLife Stadium’s crowd into a frenzy.

Now, somewhat of a journeyman, Beckham looks for his next opportunity. The 32-year-old took to Instagram and posted a photo of himself and his son sitting outside the stadium where all the magic happened.

What may look to be an innocent photo of Beckham and his son Zydn caused an eruption in his comment section. Leading the charge with 12,000 likes on their comment is current Giant wideout Malik Nabers. The second-year man said, “We still got work to do.”

As current Giants begin to campaign for the veteran’s return, Abdul Carter, the 2025 third overall draft pick, joins the fun.

Carter, who has yet to play a snap in the NFL, hopes to help what is turning into a long line of Beckham recruiters telling the wideout, “It’s time.” With plenty of eyes on the one-time Super Bowl champion, does a return to New York make sense?

New Look Giants Offense Eyeing Another Big Name Addition?

Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, Jaxson Dart, and Cam Skattebo are just a few of the big offensive additions the Giants have made this offseason. With a youthful core on offense, veteran leadership may be appealing for general manager Joe Schoen and Giants brass. More specifically, leadership at the wide receiver position.

Below Nabers on the current depth chart are Wan’Dale Robinson, Jalin Hyatt, and Darius Slayton. With that current core of receivers having an average age of 24, adding someone with experience could help their trajectory.

Still unsigned, Beckham is looking for the right fit. It is likely another short-term deal lies ahead for the veteran after his previous one-year, $3 million deal with the Miami Dolphins.

Entering his 11th season, Beckham may not be the player he once was. Regardless, the one-time first-round pick still has some fight.

During his five years with the Giants, the wideout failed to eclipse 1,000 yards only once. That was 2017, when Beckham played just four games and missed time due to an ankle injury. Since then, the LSU product has had an up-and-down journey that’s seen him spend time with four different NFL clubs.

With two playoff appearances in their last 13 seasons, the Giants are desperate for consistency. Could the emergence of Beckham in a new role propel them to future success?
