It’s good news for both the Cowboys and their fans, as Pickens is expected to be one of the team’s top wide receivers this season alongside superstar CeeDee Lamb. Dallas made the trade hoping Pickens would give quarterback Dak Prescott another reliable weapon.
Pickens has had success in his first three NFL seasons since being drafted by the Steelers in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The Georgia product has totaled 2,841 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 16.3 yards per catch.
