WrestleMania 42 night two took place on Sunday in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium, and the night began with Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar.
Femi would come out victorious, and after the match, Lesnar took off his gloves, unlaced his boots, and left them in the middle of the ring. As of late, in the wrestling industry, that means the individual is calling it a career.
There were some other exciting matches, such as Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill, Trick Williams vs Sami Zayn, and the six-man ladder match, but the match that everyone wanted to see was Roman Reigns vs CM Punk, and of course, the biggest celebrities in the world were in attendance to take in the action.
George Kittle Reacts To Roman Reigns Capturing 7th World Title
During the main event of night two of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Reigns defeated reigning champion CM Punk in a grueling match to win his seventh world championship after headlining his eleventh WrestleMania.
During the post-show interview, Reigns spoke about how he loved the wrestling business and having respect for Punk.
“It feels good,” Reigns said. |It feels as it should. That’s what’s so pure about our business is we know right away, there’s nothing like this.”
“That’s the beauty of how subjective this is, you have two extreme examples of professional wrestlers and sports entertainers in me and CM Punk, and somehow we can go out there and find a middle,” Reigns added. “That’s how I love this business.”
“The fact that I’m the Tribal Chief and I still hear people out here chanting for CM Punk, I have to respect that,” he continued. “Do I respect the man and his personal life? I don’t know.”
After the match, sports personalities such as San Francisco 49ers tight end and future Hall of Fame George Kittle and NBA All-Star Tyrese Haliburton reacted to Reigns’ win.
Kittle took to Instagram and posted a photo with him sticking a finger in the air with the New WWE Champion, Reigns, with the caption “Wrestlemaina 10/10!! Always is!!”
Haliburton praised Punk on X by using the “Snoop Dogg doesn’t miss” viral meme, which says “This mf don’t miss.”
Even WNBA Champions and Las Vegas Aces A’ja Wilson, Chelsea Gray, and NaLyssa Smith were in attendance to celebrate and receive their WWE championship belts following winning the franchise’s third championship.
NBA Champion and Miami Heat forward Andrew Wiggins was also present at the event, filming a part of the match.
Reigns Doesn’t Plan On Being A Part Timer This Summer
During his post-WrestleMania 42 interview, Roman Reigns also shared that he won’t just be showing up for part of WWE’s schedule of shows. We will be seeing him all summer long. He will be on a full-time schedule.

“All this part-time crap, we’re gonna fix that,” Reigns said. “Y’all better make some room, because you’re gonna see my ass all summer.”
Many fans and superstars have criticized Reigns for his part-time schedule, which he has earned after years of hard work. However, he transitioned to a part-time schedule due to health issues, family obligations, and other business ventures.
