‘Funniest Room in the NFL’ — Jalen Milroe Cracks Up At Thought of Joining Giants’ QB Room With Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston

The Giants have completely reshaped their quarterback room this offseason, bringing in Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston as veteran leaders. While both are signed to short-term deals, the team is still searching for a long-term answer under center.

That’s where Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe could come in. His mobility and ability to extend plays would mesh well with the Giants’ offensive style, especially with their receiving corps looking stronger than in recent years. Throwing to dynamic playmakers like Malik Nabers would give Milroe opportunities to showcase his arm strength while learning behind two seasoned quarterbacks.

With New York holding the third overall pick, they could land Milroe without having to reach or trade up. He’d be stepping into an ideal situation where he could develop at a comfortable pace while soaking up knowledge from two of the NFL’s biggest personalities. And looks like he is going to enjoy that.

Jalen Milroe Made His Thoughts on the Giants’ QB Room Clear

Milroe couldn’t help but crack up at the thought of joining the New York Giants’ quarterback room. With Wilson and Winston already in the mix, Milroe called it the “funniest QB room in the NFL” and seemed more than entertained by the possibility of stepping into an environment packed with personality.

When asked on the “Up & Adams Show” who would give the better speech between Wilson and Winston, Milroe had a response that made it clear he knows how to play along with the veteran leadership dynamic.

“When he [Winston] speaks, I’m gonna echo what he’s saying. Then it’s time for me to be heard. But until then, I’m gonna reinforce what boss man gotta say and the old heads in the room.” Milroe seemed ready to embrace the structure that comes with playing alongside experienced quarterbacks while also keeping things lighthearted.

Jalen Milroe’s Playmaking Ability and NFL Potential

While Milroe has a sharp sense of humor, there’s nothing funny about his talent on the field. In his final season at Alabama, he threw for 2,844 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, but his ability as a dual-threat quarterback is what really sets him apart. He added 726 rushing yards and 20 rushing touchdowns, proving that defenses had to account for his legs as much as his arm.

At his pro day, Milroe put on a strong showing, demonstrating his deep-ball accuracy and smooth mechanics. His ability to make throws on the run, a critical skill at the next level, was on full display. Scouts walked away impressed by his arm strength and poise, even as they noted areas where he can continue to refine his game.

As the draft nears, the Giants remain one of the most logical landing spots for Milroe, and judging by his comments, he wouldn’t mind joining Wilson and Winston for what could easily be the most entertaining quarterback room in the league. Whether New York makes the move to bring him in remains to be seen, but if they do, expect a whole lot of laughs and maybe a few legendary speeches.
