Von Miller remains a free agent after being released by the Buffalo Bills, but the two-time Super Bowl champion hasn’t ruled out a reunion with one of his former teams.
Miller, an eight-time Pro Bowler, has 129.5 career sacks over 13 NFL seasons and isn’t interested in riding off into the sunset just yet. The 35-year-old linebacker recently hinted at a possible return to the Denver Broncos.

Von Miller Says ‘I’ve Always Loved Blue and Orange’
Miller posted six sacks in 13 games last season for Buffalo and came up with a key fumble recovery in the AFC divisional round. Entering what would be his 14th NFL season, he still appears to have plenty left in the tank.
One team he’s had on his mind lately is the Denver Broncos. Miller was named Super Bowl MVP in 2015 and recorded 110.5 sacks across 11 seasons in Denver, firmly cementing his place as one of the franchise’s all-time greats.
During an appearance on “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams, Miller didn’t rule out a return to Denver while reflecting on his future. He was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Broncos.
“You just have to see,” Miller told Adams. “I’ve always loved blue and orange. You just have to see. It’s a fun time for me in my career, and you just have to wait and see, and take it one day at a time, and just have fun, and wait and see.”

Pressed about what lies ahead, Miller stayed noncommittal but hinted at his admiration for Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
“I think the excitement of not knowing what’s next,” Miller said. “I’ve done everything I can possibly do, and whatever’s next for me is whatever’s next… it’s fun, it’s exciting. You’re looking at new teams, you’re looking at new quarterbacks… you can never replace a Josh Allen and the season that he had.”
Miller was speaking while attending a charity golf tournament in Mexico, where he spent time with several current and former Broncos players, including Brandon McManus, Brett Rypien, Courtland Sutton, Case Keenum, Justin Simmons, and Trevor Siemian.
Buffalo Bills Keeping Door Open for Return
Bills general manager Brandon Beane made a difficult roster move by releasing Miller on March 9. The team invested $12.6 million in free agent pass rusher Joey Bosa, making Miller a salary cap casualty.
Still, Beane hasn’t closed the door on bringing the veteran back. Miller will turn 36 on March 26.
“I had a very good conversation with him the other day before we released him and would never close the door on bringing him back,” Beane said, via Ralph Ventre. “Whether it’s now, whether it’s later in the spring, or in-season.”
