Who Are the Best Players To Draft in Fantasy?
CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys
Ever since entering the NFL, CeeDee Lamb’s price in fantasy drafts has increased every season. This will obviously be the last, as it is impossible to get any higher than No. 1 overall (in 1QB leagues).
Last year, fantasy managers paid the elite WR1 price for Lamb. He delivered. Lamb averaged 23.7 fantasy points per game, finishing as the overall WR1.
From Week 6 onward, Lamb produced at a level we may never have seen. Over the final 12 games of the season (including Week 18), Lamb gave fantasy managers two 40-point games, three 30-point games, and two more 25-point games. Most importantly, he never posted a single week below 16.5 fantasy points.

Lamb probably won’t be better than he was last season, but he should be just as good.
Lamb has a top-10 NFL quarterback in Dak Prescott, but no other wide receiver on the roster even touched the top 30. It’s just Lamb. Brandin Cooks and Jake Ferguson are solid alternatives, but they do not threaten Lamb’s volume.
It is extremely rare to find a wide receiver with elite talent who is also in a great offensive situation saddled with massive opportunity because 99% of the time, there is at least some issue with one of these things. Not with Lamb. He should be the first wide receiver selected in 2024 fantasy drafts.
Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets
The circumstances couldn’t have been much worse for Breece Hall last season. He was in his first year back from a torn ACL. The Jets lost Aaron Rodgers four plays into the season. Zach Wilson was, once again, one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL. The offensive line was a disaster.
Amidst all this adversity, Hall still managed to average 17.1 fantasy points per game, finishing as the overall RB6. From Week 14 onward, including Week 18, Hall averaged 25.8 fantasy points per game.
This year, Hall will have a healthy Rodgers, and the Jets improved their offensive line. A truly legendary season is within Hall’s range of outcomes.
