Ka’imi Fairbairn, Houston Texans (vs. IND)
Another AFC South team with motivation. The Texans will likely be scoreboard watching in Week 18. If they see the Jaguars hammering the Titans, they may pull starters. But for at least a half of football, we will get full motivation, as the Texans need a win and a Jaguars loss to clinch the division.
The Colts have been generous to kickers, allowing the eighth most fantasy points per game to the position. Ka’imi Fairbairn has also been one of the league’s best this season.
Amazingly, Fairbairn has attempted multiple field goals in every single game he’s played in this year. He’s only missed one field goal since Week 5 and is perfect on extra points. The Texans’ offense is good enough that it should be able to move the ball, but not so prolific that they will finish every drive with a touchdown, making Fairbairn the perfect kicker option.
