The Indianapolis Colts will visit the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, specifically regarding WR Josh Downs.
Is Josh Downs Playing in Week 12?
Downs is not on the injury report, and barring a surprise, he is expected to play.

Should You Start or Sit Downs in Week 12?
The script almost entirely wrote Downs out of the game in Berlin against the Jets, and the fact that we can see that happen is scary.
In the win, he saw just two balls thrown his way, but my greater concern is that he ranks fifth on this team in routes run.
- Alec Pierce: 36 routes (7 targets)
- Michael Pittman: 35 routes (2 targets)
- Tyler Warren: 32 routes (10 targets)
- Jonathan Taylor: 24 routes (3 targets)
- Downs: 23 routes (2 targets)
Everything being equal, I like the slot role that Downs owns (74.3% of his routes this season have come there), but if the run game is dominating and the team isn’t focused on prioritizing the quick passing game, games like this are at risk of occurring.
I’m willing to look past this game because he had scored over 11 PPR points in each of the four games prior; however, this is a concerning occurrence that is worth keeping track of.
