The Houston Texans (2-3) will host the San Francisco 49ers (5-2) in Week 8. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, specifically regarding WR Jaylin Noel.

Should You Start or Sit Jaylin Noel in Week 8?
The broadcast on Monday night continued to insist that Jaylin Noel was an asset in the making, and while his long-term outlook is going to rely on how this Texans team builds out their offense, he certainly looked like the better Iowa State wide receiver.
Week 7 Data
-
Noel: 44.9% snap share, 4 catches, 7 targets
-
Jayden Higgins: 65.2% snap share, 0 catches, 3 targets
He was filling a void left by Christian Kirk (hamstring) and later by Nico Collins, so I’m not ready to say he’s close to redraft flex radars, but he did show well for himself against a tough Seahawks defense that was living in the backfield.
Stashing him is a sound strategy: Houston is going to want to get him as many live reps as possible this season, and the lingering nature of the Kirk injury could ramp up that process in a meaningful way.
