The Detroit Lions will visit the Washington Commanders in Week 10. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, specifically regarding RB Jahmyr Gibbs.
Is Gibbs Playing in Week 10?
Gibbs is not on the injury report and barring a surprise, he is expected to play.
We’ll continue to monitor the Lions’ injury report leading up to kickoff for any changes. You can also visit and bookmark our Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.
Should You Start or Sit Gibbs in Week 10?
Relax.
Just about all of the high-end running backs have had a game like what Jahmyr Gibbs put on paper last week, if not multiple.
Gibbs averaged 16.6 carries per game in the five contests prior to Week 9, and I fully expect we see that volume return this week. We have a 40-game sample of him averaging 5.3 yards per carry, making that volume alone worthy of our confidence.
Add in the unique splash play ability and the efficiency, albeit suppressed usage, in the pass game (29 catches on 31 targets), and you’ve got yourself an elite asset that could come in a little lower owned in DFS circles despite a weird main slate (Jonathan Taylor, Bijan Robinson, Saquon Barkley, and Josh Jacobs are off of it).
