Jordan Love, QB, Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers offense has looked like a shell of itself in recent weeks, as key injuries, poor offensive line play, and reserved playcalling have held them back. That hasn’t mattered too much in their last two games, with the Packers able to salt away victories over the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings on the ground.

On Sunday, Jordan Love attempted a season-low 21 pass attempts, after attempting just 24, his third-fewest of the year, in Week 11. Moving forward, Green Bay faces the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears (twice), Denver Broncos, and Baltimore Ravens, and will likely have to pass the ball far than they have been.

Love has gone without a passing touchdown in three of the past four weeks, but has not thrown an interception in his last three, highlighting the safe nature of the offense. The Packers defense is playing phenomenally, but they won’t be facing J.J. McCarthy moving forward.

With star receiver Jayden Reed also looking likely to return in the coming weeks, Love should find himself opening things up against tougher opposition. Reed’s presence will open up more deep opportunities for Christian Watson, and the Packers offense should look far more familiar as we hurtle toward the playoffs.

Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears

Heading into Sunday, none of Chicago’s seven wins this season had come against teams with winning records. Sunday’s victory over the Steelers put an end to that run, albeit with Aaron Rodgers watching on from the sidelines.

Caleb Williams put up some impressive numbers, completing 19 of 35 pass attempts for 239 yards and three touchdowns. He did give up an awful touchdown by fumbling in his own end zone, but Bears fans won’t care about that with the team leading the NFC North.

Analyzing Williams’s performances this season, though, it’s clear that his better performances have come against weaker opposition. But for the opening weekend against the Vikings, Williams’ top-10 fantasy finishes have all come against defenses that entered Sunday in the bottom 11 against the pass.

The New York Giants ranked 11th-worst in passing yards allowed per game, while the Bengals, Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, and Washington Commanders made up the bottom four.

Moving forward, Williams faces the Packers twice, the Browns, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the San Francisco 49ers. If you make it to the fantasy championship, the 49ers offer a promising matchup. Before then, though, the remaining three teams ranked in the top half of that list, with the Packers 10th-best, and the Browns leading all defenses against the pass.

Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys

For the seventh time this season, Dak Prescott threw multiple touchdown passes last week and he’s proven relentless over the course of four quarters this season.

Against the Eagles last week, Prescott’s Cowboys looked dead to rights, but he stuck with the plan and it paid off. In the victory, 57.1% of his targets and 62.4% of his passing yards went to his top two receivers: if we see that level of execution the rest of the way, he can be a Tier 1 pocket passer.

His rushing days are behind him, but with over three fantasy points on the ground in three of his past four starts, there’s at least the hope for him adding value in a secondary manner.

The Chiefs have allowed a QB to reach his season fantasy average just three times through 12 weeks and that sort of tenacity requires us to adjust our expectations a bit. That said, if you’re projecting Patrick Mahomes to have success in this spot, you’re forcing Prescott’s hand in terms of volume and that’ll get him into the QB1 conversation more often than not.

Right now, he’s on the right side of the top-12 at the position for me.

Jared Goff, QB, Detroit Lions

Jared Goff finishing with 279 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns last week was an impressive showing when you consider what Jahmyr Gibbs was doing on the ground.

We’ve seen his pass attempt count tick up in every week since Dan Campbell took over playcalling duties and with the balance of this run game, I like the projectable efficiency of Goff moving forward.

The interception last week was off the hands of Amon-Ra St. Brown in the red zone: the final stat line looks different if that drive finishes with a touchdown, something that happens more often than not.

Jameson Williams getting shut out was curious, but Goff funneling 65.8% of his targeted passes to St. Brown or Gibbs is encouraging. This is a loaded offense that traditionally thrives when playing inside and with them showing strong signs of concentration, I’ve got this labeled as a top 5 offense for the remainder of the season.

This Packers defense can create chaos at a high level, but I’m looking for Campbell to scheme up a quick hitting attack and I think that plays well. Give me Goff as a top 10 QB in the first game of the week.

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Cleveland Browns

There are some signs of viability in Shedeur Sanders up to this point, but he’s not close to fantasy relevant right now and I’m not sure the roster around him as it currently stands gives him much of a chance.

The 52-yard completion to Isaiah Bond was a nice peak into what is possible and his first touchdown pass (the screen that Dylan Sampson took to the house) at least showed the ability to be on time at this level.

Use this final month as an excuse to scout him for next season, but I’d be surprised if he is close to viable in one QB leagues in 2026 due to a lack of mobility and a below average supporting cast.
