Davante Adams left fans holding their breath after exiting last week’s game early, but his status for Week 11 is still drawing plenty of fantasy football intrigue. While the Rams managed fine without him, the offense clearly isn’t the same when he’s out. Reports out of Los Angeles suggest optimism, but the team is playing it close to the vest.
Fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye on updates before locking in their lineups this weekend.

Davante Adams Injury Update
Adams suffered an oblique injury in the second half of the Los Angeles Rams’ matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. He did not return to the game, but head coach Sean McVay said he could have if the game had been closer.
On Monday, McVay stated that he would be “surprised” if Adams didn’t suit up for the Rams’ Week 11 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. If Adams is ruled out, expect the Rams to give Jordan Whittington and Konata Mumpfield expanded roles.

Adams Fantasy Outlook
An oblique injury kept Adams on the sideline down the stretch of last week’s dominating win, but all seems to be fine for the veteran receiver, and that means you’re starting him without a second thought, even in a tough matchup.
Since 2015, 678 players have earned at least 50 targets through the first 10 weeks of a season, and here are the players on that list who have seen at least 20% of those looks come in the end zone.
- 2019 DK Metcalf: 23.4%
- 2025 Adams: 21.8%
- 2018 Marvin Jones: 21%
- 2020 Adam Thielen: 20%
- 2018 Eric Ebron: 20%
- 2016 Dez Bryant: 20%
That’s a pretty eclectic list, and one that was fun to compile for those who have been involved in this game over the past decade.
Adams will tie a career high for end zone targets in a season with his next one, something that feels insane for a player nearing his 33rd birthday who plays alongside maybe the best receiver in the sport.

For other players, I’d worry about the sustainability of this profile, especially with Kyren Williams more than capable of finishing drives, but Adams is a unique case.
He’s been a near lock for eight targets per game this season, with multiple end zone looks more likely than not. This is a matchup-proof player that has more reward potential than risk: he’s locked in as a top 15 option at the position every single week.
