The Buffalo Bills have Josh Allen, and that means they have a chance in any game. In a weird way, however, it hasn’t assured us of fantasy football goodness for any of his pass catchers.
Not on a consistent basis anyway, not since Stefon Diggs left town. Dalton Kincaid required first-round draft capital in 2023, and the results have been mixed to date, making him an interesting discussion point at a suddenly deep-ish position.
Should You Draft Dalton Kincaid in Fantasy Football?
Ever since he entered the league, no one has quite known how to feel about Kincaid of the Buffalo Bills.
As of early September, Kincaid has an ADP of 121. His PFN consensus rank is a little lower at 128. He’s TE16 in the pecking order, and he’s projected for 8.32 points per game, tied with Brenton Strange entering this season.
Kincaid played through a torn PCL in 2025, which limited him to just 12 games, but he still logged 571 receiving yards and a career-high 5 receiving touchdowns with a 10% touchdown rate on his targets. He quietly had the most 20-plus-yard receptions among tight ends in 2025, with 13 such receptions on just 39 catches and 49 targets.
When healthy, Kincaid ranked seventh among tight ends in fantasy points per game with 7.3. He had 5 weekly finishes inside the top 10 at his position and 3 more inside the top 20. He also ranked sixth among tight ends in yards after the catch per reception with 6.6, and he was third in EPA per target at 0.79.
Kincaid was a first-round pick, but this feels like the first year that we’ve come around to saying for certain that the Bills will both want and need to get him the ball more. He’s emerging as a true weapon in the offense, and to maximize their production, I feel like Kincaid has to be utilized more. He proved it in 2025 with his production in that limited sample.
As of early September, he’s working through a broken right pinky, but that’s not believed to be something that’ll keep him off the field. When he’s on the field, Josh Allen is his QB. The scheme and the offensive line largely remain intact. DJ Moore’s acquisition does impact things. Moore brings a little more target competition to the fold, but I still think Kincaid is in line to be the flex weapon and mismatch generator over the middle who will see the field alongside Moore and Khalil Shakir in 11 and 12 personnel looks. Ultimately, I don’t trust Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, or Skyler Bell to be legitimate target-volume threats over the long term, even though I’m high on Bell’s upside in particular.
In my opinion, Kincaid is an excellent value at his ADP, ranked 16th at his position but possessing legitimate top-10 upside. When healthy, he offered the most compelling glimpses yet of that potential in 2025, and the circumstances are right for him to keep developing and producing even more in 2026.

Dalton Kincaid’s Week 1 Fantasy Outlook

There’s still meat on the bone for a former first-round pick who doesn’t turn 27 for another month, but the fantasy community seems to be taking it easy in the way of expectations for Kincaid, and I think that’s right.
Through 4 seasons, he’s yet to turn in a 700-yard season, and 9 scores across 41 games isn’t exactly the type of production that can mask low yardage expectations. Sometimes you see low scoring numbers for high-pedigree players, but that’s not the case here with just 11 end-zone targets on his resume despite all of the scoring chances that present themselves in a Josh Allen ecosystem.
The efficiency is nice to have, but without volume, this isn’t a profile I’m touching weekly until he burns me a few times in a row. Houston allowed the third-lowest opponent completion percentage a season ago, something that makes this profile even spottier than normal.
