The most recent meaningful update came from head coach Kyle Shanahan, who stated there is “no timeframe” for Aiyuk’s return while adding that he “always looks around that Week 10 thing”. General manager John Lynch’s September 25 assessment that Aiyuk was “not close” to returning has proven prescient, as no meaningful updates have emerged from the 49ers over the past week. The team has provided only vague progress reports without concrete milestones or practice participation.​
