Intriguing Players in the Week 11 Rest of Season Rankings

If you are looking for a different way to take advantage of these Week 11 fantasy football rest-of-season rankings, then why not check out the best ball options at Underdog Fantasy? With a $100 deposit bonus for new users, now is a great time to try out the range of games available at Underdog Fantasy.

    Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR, Cleveland Browns

I’ve been mentioning Donovan Peoples-Jones for the last few games, and it’s way past time for fantasy managers to take notice. Peoples-Jones was the top receiver for the Browns, catching five of nine targets for 99 yards on Sunday. He’s now recorded 70+ yards in five of his last six games. And since Week 4, he is the WR31 in points and is 10th in the NFL in receiving yards.

MORE: Week 11 Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendations

Not only has Peoples-Jones played on 75% or more of the snaps and every game this year, but he’s peeking at just the right time with Deshaun Watson set to return in two weeks. And although we could expect some rust for Watson, his deep ball ability, which made Will Fuller such a dangerous threat, could be pushed onto Peoples-Jones just in time for the fantasy football playoffs. He’s taking a decent leap into the high-end WR4 range of the 2022 rest-of-season rankings.

Cooper Kupp, WR, Los Angeles Rams

This is DEFCON 5. Cooper Kupp’s high-ankle sprain is literally as bad as it gets for fantasy. For those looking for hope, I’m sorry, but I have none to give. There is no way to replace the loss of Kupp.

After his injury on Sunday, Kupp was placed on the IR and will miss, at minimum, the next four games. The earliest Kupp can return is Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers. High-ankle sprains can last anywhere from four to six weeks, and there is reason to question if Kupp will play again in 2022.

Los Angeles is last in their division (3-6), and given how poor the offense looked with him, odds are they will be so far out of the race that playing Kupp might not be worth it. Obviously, you must stash him, but managers need to brace for the grim reality that Kupp, along with your season, is done.

Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers

Channeling his best Randy Moss impression, Christian Watson caught four of his eight targets for three touchdowns, including one of the best catches you will ever see. A hamstring injury had compromised his 4.3 speed for most of the year, but Green Bay found success with more over-the-middle reads, which capitalized on Watson’s athleticism and after-the-catch capabilities.

MORE: Week 11 PPR Fantasy Football Rankings

I don’t see this going away, as this is the first time Green Bay’s passing attack showed some life. Now do not get me wrong, three touchdowns are the absolute ceiling. There is every reason to believe, just as we did when the pick was made, that Watson could be just as boom-or-bust as Marques Valdez-Scantling. And that’s not the worst thing for fantasy. But he could also become more than that as a high-end WR3. For the moment, Allen Lazard has the edge, but Watson has the momentum in the Week 11 rest-of-season update.
