The NFL preseason is finally in full swing. After last week’s Hall of Fame Game between the Panthers and Cardinals, all teams are taking the field this week to get the ball rolling on their seasons. Some teams are even playing their starters, but many fans and analysts are struggling to watch the games due to streaming issues on NFL+.
Fans and Analysts Rip Streaming Issues on NFL+
NFL+ is a paid streaming service from the NFL that provides access to certain out-of-market games. Yet on the biggest night of preseason games, many can’t watch any of the games they are paying for.
These customers are not happy, rightfully so, and are shredding the NFL+ product for the inconvenience.
“Hey [NFL] go ahead and refund us for your terrible NFL+ product if you’re not gonna let us watch games and login properly to access what we paid for,” said NFL analyst Warren Sharp.

If these customers can’t get what they paid for, more than just Sharp will be requesting refunds. The product is taking a major beating on social media because of its failures.

Frustration is continually building among NFL+ users because this isn’t a first-time issue. They’ve dealt with outages and the inability to watch the games they want in the past, and it seems to keep happening. The analysts aren’t able to watch certain games, and the fans can’t either.

“The NFL Plus subscription to see the preseason games is currently [expletive]. Can’t sign in. Can’t reset password. Can’t get a link to reset the password. I’m paying for this [expletive]??!?” said one fan.
Another fan chimed in with their own displeasure, “Of course NFL Plus just ruins the entire day.”
“NFL plus is the biggest joke of a streaming service that has ever existed,” added another fan.
The NFL did not expect the failures of NFL+ to be one of the bigger takeaways early on in the preseason. But their product isn’t working and is failing their customers.
NFL+ isn’t putting out a good product tonight, if any product at all. It has resulted in many fans and analysts having reasons to reconsider their purchases, and tonight is another reminder that it’s not quite up to the standard set by other streaming services.
