If there’s one thing that the Atlanta Falcons have grown tired of, it’s Raheem Morris’s time management. The Falcons went into halftime with a 14-13 lead, one that could’ve had a few more points added had he not ended the first 30 minutes the way he did. A key interception allowed Atlanta to get back on the board, but Morris’s tactics prevented his team from doing so.
Atlanta Falcons Fans Riled Up With Raheem Morris’s Time Management
What could’ve been a game-changing interception turned into a simple knee to wind the clock down to halftime. Leading the Indianapolis Colts by one at the break is great, but Falcons fans know that last drive could’ve gone much differently.
“Rewinded the tape… Falcons could have had the ball back after the INT with around 45 seconds left at their own 40… if only Raheem Morris wasn’t such an idiot.”
Raheem not taking that timeout after the Ellis sack is inexcusable. Plenty of time for us to get the ball back and try another FG.
This is the boneheaded management he does every game #falcons

Another commented, “Raheem not taking that timeout after the Ellis sack is inexcusable. Plenty of time for us to get the ball back and try another FG. This is the boneheaded management he does every game.” Someone else was, “Tired of the classic Raheem Morris clock management disasterclass.”
If the Falcons end up losing this game by one score, Falcons fans will go back to this moment, “Raheem Morris saving those timeouts for when he gets fired,” as another added, “Raheem Morris got the clock management of a high school quarterback.”
For the second time this season, analyst Kurt Warner ended up posting during a game, “Why does European soil mess with situational football at the end of the first half so much? I’ve seen questionable decisions in every game I’ve called over here!!??? #WhatTheyThinking?”

When Warner is left confused, fans should feel much more justified being upset with Morris’s antics, “Raheem Morris somehow has worse clock management than Mike Tomlin lol,” and, “Morris needs someone to handle the clock cause he’s horrible at it.”
No matter what the Falcons are doing on the field, fans believe Morris is holding them back, “Oh look more clock management issues from Raheem Morris. Just like clock work. Terrible coaching continues in spite of the players.” Another commented, “Morris might be the worst Head Coach in the NFL. Another atrocious clock management situation.”
“Coach morris you are terrible in situational football, clock management is horrendous then again it explains why your 3-5,” this fan wrote. Clearly, the Falcons have talented players, but there are a few glaring issues fans are quick to point out.
