Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are one of the NFL’s current power couples. While Patrick has dominated on the field for the Kansas City Chiefs, Brittany has been his biggest supporter and is often spotted cheering hard at his games.
The couple had an awkwardly funny moment happen while they attended a Texas Tech basketball game from 2022, and one of Patrick’s former teammates recently reacted to the resurfaced clip.
Le’Veon Bell Reacts to Viral Clip of Brittany Mahomes
The clip in question came during a 2022 Texas Tech basketball game where Brittany and Patrick were sitting courtside. Brittany can be interpreted as saying, “Patrick told me no resting b**** face,” to the person to her left before making a couple of ironic faces.
Patrick was looking the other way, and the clip went viral.
It recently resurfaced on X, and long-time Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell responded, “lol she funny af.” Bell played 10 games for Kansas City in 2020, including the postseason, and was well past his prime.

Kansas City made it to Super Bowl 55 after the 2020 season, but fell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-9. Bell played one more season in the NFL, and the Chiefs have won two more Super Bowls.
Bell’s response to Brittany’s viral video saw some decent numbers on X, but one fan responded negatively, saying, “She is so annoying that face that she makes at the end kind of looks like when something doesn’t go Patrick’s way in a game and screaming at the officials chewing on his mouthpiece.”
Brittany has been a polarizing figure mainly because of how good her husband’s team has been over the last six years. She’s likely to catch more heat as long as the Chiefs keep competing for Super Bowls, but the clip resurfacing brings back a funny moment.
Who Is Brittany Mahomes?
Patrick and Brittany have been together since high school, were engaged in 2020, and got married in 2022. While Patrick played football at Texas Tech, Brittany played soccer at the Division III University of Texas at Tyler.
She briefly played professionally for Icelandic club Afturelding/Fram in 2017 before joining Patrick in Kansas City. Brittany worked as a personal trainer and became a part-owner of the Kansas City Current of the NWSL.
The couple married in Hawaii in 2022 and have three kids together. Brittany received a lot of media attention early in Kansas City’s run of dominance, given her relationship with Patrick, and came back into the spotlight after Taylor Swift began dating Travis Kelce.
Brittany and Swift’s relationship has made headlines, with Brittany recently expressing her pleasure at the artist securing the rights to her music library.
