The NFL announced Bad Bunny as the halftime show performer for Super Bowl LX during halftime of the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys game on Sunday Night Football. The Puerto Rican star has taken the music world by storm and is one of the most-streamed artists globally. Some people aren’t too happy with the decision, though.
While other fans come to the defense of Bad Bunny, as they did when Eric Dickerson criticized the decision to have Bad Bunny as the halftime performer.
Fans Rip into Eric Dickerson’s Take on Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny is the top Latin artist in the world right now. His music is predominantly in Spanish, and it has stirred up controversy that the songs performed at the Super Bowl won’t be in English. Bad Bunny has been vocal about his disappointment in the United States and the ICE raids around the country. He had vowed not to perform in the U.S. because of his stance, but that changed with the Super Bowl halftime show.
Dickerson went after Bad Bunny and told him to stay home if he dislikes the U.S.
“If Bad Bunny don’t like the US, keep his a** where he’s at” said Dickerson.
Fans ripped into Dickerson as Puerto Rico belongs to the United States. It is a territory of the nation, and fans let him know about it.

One fan did tell Dickerson that Puerto Rico is indeed a U.S. territory.

Dickerson was one of the best running backs ever to grace an NFL field. He was a five-time First-Team All-Pro, six-time Pro Bowler, Offensive Player of the Year, and a three-time MVP runner-up. When it comes to producing on the field, Dickerson could do everything. Off the field, he’s being dragged for his knowledge of U.S. territories.

It’s safe to say fans weren’t impressed by Dickerson’s take on Bad Bunny. He might not be everyone’s favorite choice, but he’s a mega star who has dominated the music scene over the last few years. The three-time Grammy winner will take the stage whether Dickerson likes it or not, and it should be an entertaining watch no matter how it goes.
