Eagles Predicted to Draft 11-TD TE As Dallas Goedert’s Successor: ‘Upside Through the Roof’

A 2026 mock draft predicts the Philadelphia Eagles will select elite Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq as Dallas Goedert's successor.

With A.J. Brown potentially nearing an exit and Dallas Goedert, 31, entering the final year of his contract, the Philadelphia Eagles’ long-term offensive outlook is beginning to look fairly bleak. However, with the NFL Draft approaching, the team is projected to select an uber-talented tight end prospect who could bring significant upside to the offense.

Eagles Predicted To Draft All-American Oregon Tight End

On Wednesday, April 1, PFSN’s Jacob Infante published a 3-Round 2026 NFL Mock Draft, offering insight into each of the first 100 selections.

At No. 23, he predicted the Eagles to take the first tight-end off of the board, by drafting Oregon’s Kenyon Sadiq.

Infante wrote: “Dallas Goedert is back in Philadelphia for another year. Though he’s coming off a career-high 11 receiving touchdowns, he’ll be 32 years old next offseason and might not be a long-term option for the Eagles beyond 2026. Luckily for them, they have a potentially elite tight end prospect fall into their laps in this mock draft.”

“Kenyon Sadiq is an elite athlete who can separate from man coverage, has reliable hands as a pass catcher, and battles hard as a run blocker for a smaller tight end,” the analyst continued.

“He caught eight touchdown passes in the 2025 regular season, taking advantage of his first opportunity at cracking the starting lineup. His upside as a receiver is through the roof, making him worthy of a first-round selection in our 2026 NFL Mock Draft.”

This past season, in his final collegiate year with the Ducks, Sadiq hauled in 51 receptions for 560 receiving yards and, as Infante previously noted, 8 touchdowns. He posted an 82.2 impact score, ranking 11th in the country among all tight ends, according to PFSN’s metrics.

Meanwhile, per PFSN’s NFL Draft HQ, Sadiq earned an 87.96 prospect grade, ranking first in the tight end position and 17th overall. He was also given a 9.44 Relative Athletic Score (RAS), on a 10.0 scale, thanks to his dominant combine performance this Winter.

Notably, he ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash, the fastest tight end time since 2003. He also recorded a 43.5″ vertical jump (99th percentile), an 11’1 broad jump (99th pctl), and logged 26 reps on the bench press (93rd pctl).

Per the site, “At 6’3″ and almost 250 pounds, Sadiq has a hyper-dense and muscular frame, which he combines with elite explosive athleticism, fluidity, and seam-splitting speed.”

Beyond the immediate impact Sadiq would bring to the Eagles’ offense, he has the potential to develop into one of the most versatile and dangerous pass-catching weapons in the league. Between him, Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, and a dominant defense, Philadelphia remains in an excellent position moving forward.
