The 2025 NFL Draft has now come and gone. While the NFL season is still a ways away, this was the last major shakeup of NFL rosters.
With the landscape no longer subject to significant changes, it’s full steam ahead toward preparing for the upcoming fantasy football year. Most Dynasty startup drafts will take place over the next couple of months.
With that in mind, here are our latest dynasty quarterback rankings.

Quarterbacks To Target In Dynasty Startup Drafts
Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
It’s safe to say Jayden Daniels had one of the best rookie quarterback seasons in NFL history. He took a four-win Commanders team to the NFC Championship Game and won Offensive Rookie of the Year. In fantasy, Daniels was the best value at the quarterback spot, averaging 21.5 fantasy points per game.
Now, Daniels is the QB2 in dynasty startups, and that feels right. He’s 24 years old and just finished as the QB5 overall in his rookie year. Washington looks strong on offense, but outside of Daniels and Terry McLaurin, they’re still missing big-time playmakers.
That might seem like a problem, but it’s actually a plus for Daniels’ value. He averaged 52.4 rushing yards per game last season. With no clear No. 2 option behind McLaurin, Daniels is likely to keep running a lot — especially now that he’s more used to the NFL.
Daniels should be a top-tier QB1 for most of the next decade. If you miss out on Josh Allen, Daniels is a great fallback.
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Somehow, Baker Mayfield is still underrated. It’s surprising, especially since fantasy managers usually give No. 1 overall picks a long leash. It’s like people decided he shouldn’t be this good. But why not?
Mayfield went No. 1 overall in 2018 to the winless Browns. He averaged 17.9 points per game as a rookie. He did struggle after that, but the promise he showed early didn’t just disappear.
I’m not saying dynasty managers should’ve seen it coming in 2023. But once it happened, there was no reason to doubt it. And in 2024, he backed it up again.
Mayfield averaged a career-best 22.5 fantasy points per game. He might not hit that again — he’s not a runner, and we can’t count on 40-plus touchdowns — but he’s clearly a QB1. And he’s not old.
At 30, Mayfield can be a 20-point fantasy QB for the next 6–8 years, maybe longer. He’s the perfect QB2 to pair with one of the younger, mobile guys.
