Dyami Brown’s rookie contract with the Washington Commanders ended after the 2024 season, but he didn’t earn a contract extension before hitting the free market. However, Brown still managed to get a deal from the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency. Let’s analyze his contract, salary, and net worth.
Dyami Brown’s Contract and Salary
Brown signed a one-year deal worth $10 million with the Jaguars. The deal includes $9.5 million in guaranteed money and a signing bonus of $5 million.
According to Spotrac, Brown will earn a base salary of $4.5 million in 2025, a signing bonus of $5 million, and a workout bonus of $250,000, while carrying a cap hit of $9.9 million and a dead cap value of $9.5 million. He will also receive a workout bonus of $235,294.
Brown’s contract also includes incentives up to $2 million, which are as follows:
- Reception Incentives (non-cumulative):
- 50: $100,000 ($200k with playoff berth)
- 70: $250,000 ($500k w/ playoff berth)
- 90: $500,000 ($1M w/ playoff berth)
- Receiving Yard Incentives (non-cumulative):
- 800: $100,000 ($200k w/ playoff berth)
- 900: $250,000 ($500k w/ playoff berth)

Brown’s Net Worth and Career Earnings
Brown was previously on a rookie deal worth $4.94 million with the Commanders, so this is still a significant increase in his annual salary, and the Jaguars’ GM James Gladstone (video below) hopes he can earn an even bigger contract in the future.
“I think it’s easy to look at Dyami’s career path and trajectory and know that he’s ascending right the way that he closed out last season was nothing short of impressive, and we look for him to carry that into his one-year contract with us,” he said.
“He took a bet on himself that a year from now, given the opportunity that he sees here with the Jacksonville Jaguars, that he’s going to take another step and earn an even larger contract.”
While Brown’s net worth isn’t known in the public domain, he has generated $4,943,998 in his four years in the NFL. If Brown completes his contract with the Jaguars and earns the $2 million in incentives as well, his career earnings will jump to $16,943,998, and his net worth will witness a major jump.
Brown was picked 82nd overall by Washington in the 2021 NFL Draft and managed 12 receptions for 165 yards in six starts as a rookie. He was targeted just 14 times as a sophomore but posted an impressive 143 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions, including a 75-yard touchdown.
The former North Carolina receiver tallied 168 yards and one touchdown in 2023 but reached a career-high 30 receptions for a career-high 308 yards and one touchdown in 2024. He will now hope to increase his production to 1,000 yards in Jacksonville, just like he used to do in North Carolina.
