Ann Michael has become a staple around the team, building a following through her regular game-day posts, lifestyle content, and community-focused updates. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flager Business School, she completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with minors in entrepreneurship and conflict management.
Her background also includes a broad athletic resume. She served as a captain in softball, field hockey, and cheerleading during high school and later coached a youth softball team in Chapel Hill. Football is closely tied to her family: her father played collegiately, and her brother, Tad Hudson, was a quarterback at UNC, overlapping with Drake Maye for one season, according to PEOPLE.
Ann Michael and Drake’s relationship began long before their college years. The two met at age 12 and later attended William Amos Hough High School before Maye transferred to Myers Park High School to further his football development.
They remained together through high school and college before Maye proposed in January 2025 following his NFL rookie season. The couple married on June 21 and donated all their wedding gifts to North Carolina charities and homeless shelters.
On the field, Maye delivered another assured performance, completing 24 of 31 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. His team took a 17-0 lead after a 3-yard touchdown pass to Kayshon Boutte. His connection to Hunter Henry also proved important early, with a 36-yard pass to the tight end helping set up a touchdown drive.
Marcus Jones added a 94-yard punt-return score early in the game. New England built a 30-7 halftime lead, and in the second half, the Patriots scored only three points, adding one more field goal. They allowed eight points to the Giants, who finished with 15 total.
