While all of us are extremely excited for the Super Bowl rematch on Monday Night Football matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, nobody is more eager for tonight’s game than one bettor at DraftKings Sportsbook, who is one leg away from cashing a parlay worth over $1.6 million.
DraftKings Bettor Is One Leg Away From Winning A $1.6 Million Parlay
A man by the name of Marco Piemonte wagered $40,000 on a 13-leg parlay on Friday that is down to its final leg tonight on Monday Night Football — Eagles alternate line +10. The odds of the parlay are +3946, and it’s worth $1,618,738.10.

Going into Sunday Night Football, the only remaining legs for the parlay were for the Broncos to win and the Eagles to cover 10 points. Piemonte had an opportunity to cash out for a profit of nearly $500,000 before last night’s game, but as one does who places $40,000 parlays, he was bold enough to let it ride.
This looked like a regrettable decision for a while, as the Vikings had a 20-15 lead with 3:17 remaining in the fourth quarter. But then, Russell Wilson started cooking, as he led the Broncos to a 75-yard scoring drive to score the go-ahead touchdown with 1:03 left in the game.
Down 20-21 with just over a minute remaining, the game was far from over, but Joshua Dobbs was unable to engineer a game-winning drive, and the Broncos got the win with Piemonte cashing the 12th leg of his parlay.

Earlier this morning, Action Network reported that Piemonte was putting $500,000 on Chiefs -2 (currently -125 at DraftKings) as an opportunity to middle his bet. Basically, if the Chiefs win by anywhere from 3-9 points, Piemonte will win his $1.6 million parlay plus the additional $500,000 on Kansas City giving two points.
It’s also a nice hedge for the parlay, as he now guarantees himself a profit of at least $360,000 in the event the Chiefs win by more than 10 points. Not too shabby.
