Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been the talk of the town for the past few weeks, with their grand wedding taking place on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The 14-time Grammy winner and Kelce hosted around 1,000 guests for their wedding and reportedly turned MSG into a fairy-tale-like castle.
The couple’s popularity really stood out, with millions of fans following the wedding coverage in real time, even standing outside the venue to get a glimpse of what was happening; however, U.S. President Donald Trump believes he beats the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer in popularity.

Trump met with the press on Monday and spoke about his influence and popularity among the everyday population.
The president addressed the platform called “TikTok” at his press conference and said he learned an interesting fact about the app while watching Maria Bartiromo’s show in the morning.
Trump pointed to the narrative about TikTok spying on its audience and said he found out he is currently the number 1 person on the app, noting that megastar Swift is at number 11.

“It was announced about two days ago, and the new numbers just came out. You know who the number 1 person in TikTok is, by far? Trump. Me. I’m number 1. Like Taylor Swift was number 11.“ Trump said.
“I’m number 1 in TikTok, by far,” he continued. “And the numbers just came out. And I said, well, you know, I’m hearing about how they influence — they’re talking about their tremendous danger because they influence. But if they influence so badly — I mean, I’m saying all things like, ‘I love our country, we got to stop communism, we got to do this and that, we’re doing a lot of things.'”
Trump added. “But I’m, by far, number 1. It was sent to me — you know, the list comes out — number 1, number two. I was number 1 by a lot.”

Swift, who just tied the knot with the Chiefs’ star tight end, is one of the most popular people on TikTok, with 33.5M followers, compared to Trump, who has just 16.6M.
While it’s not the followers count that Trump is referring to, it’s unclear what metric he was referring to while saying he is no. 1 on the app.
