Domani Jackson is a cornerback from Alabama who is ranked No. 106 on my NFL Draft Top 100 Big Board. This comprehensive scouting report analyzes Jackson’s draft potential, current mock draft trends, and where he ranks among the top prospects.
Domani Jackson’s NFL Draft Potential
Domani Jackson was a fringe first-round prospect for me entering the year. At 6’0″, 195 pounds, he’s an S-tier athlete with true class-pacing speed, explosiveness, short-area twitch, correction, and recovery ability. His 2024 tape was stellar, but in 2025, costly lapses in discipline have compounded, and he’s now seen himself filtered out of the starting lineup.
Jackson’s athletic gifts will still be impossible for NFL teams to pass up, but he has to improve his situational awareness to keep a role on Sundays past spot-starter availability. If he can improve his discipline, he has impact starter potential.
CFB Week 9 Update
Jackson was decent in limited action against South Carolina, but his snap share continues to be eaten into by freshman Dijon Lee Jr. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as Jackson himself has held up his end of the bargain lately; he didn’t let any big plays slip by or draw any penalties in Week 9. However, eyes are on him to finish strong ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft cycle if he wants to realize his early-round potential. Testing could see him go early regardless, but there’s more to accomplish on the field.
CFB Week 10 Update
Alabama was on a bye in Week 10, but the Crimson Tide will return to action in Week 11 against the LSU Tigers. The Tigers are reeling after the firing of Brian Kelly, but their offense remains in command of a collegiate veteran in Garrett Nussmeier, and the defense will pose a threat to Alabama’s offense with Mansoor Delane and AJ Haulcy looming in the secondary.
CFB Week 11 Update
Domani Jackson has continued to see reduced snaps in Alabama’s rotation at CB, and he scarcely played in the Crimson Tide’s victory over LSU. Without any eligibility remaining, Jackson will have to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft – and his 2024 play and athletic testing will give him some inbuilt draft security. However, his regression and reduction in playing time in 2025 has been very concerning. He’ll be a reclamation project of sorts for NFL teams.
CFB Week 12 Update
Jackson received a slight uptick in snaps in Week 12 against the Sooners. Per TruMedia, on 15 coverage snaps, he was targeted just once, for a completion of seven yards—and he was fairly active coming downhill and encumbering blocks in support. For Jackson, who doesn’t have any eligibility remaining, finishing the season strong will be especially important, with a potential CFB Playoff berth on the line.
Where Is Jackson Being Selected Most Often in the PFSN Mock Draft Simulator?
Jackson currently holds the No. 123 overall rank among prospects, reflecting his standing among mid-round prospects. His most recent Average Draft Position (ADP) of 132.0 as of November 19 reflects that he is typically being selected in the middle rounds.
The gap between his rank and ADP indicates that while he’s highly regarded on our board, draft simulators are seeing him slide slightly, possibly due to team needs or positional value considerations.
Users controlling the Detroit Lions have been the team that selected Jackson the most frequently over the past week, accounting for 1.8% of their picks across all seven rounds.
