Domani Jackson is a cornerback from Alabama who is ranked No. 119 on my NFL Draft Top 100 Big Board. This comprehensive scouting report analyzes Jackson’s draft potential, current mock draft trends, and where he ranks among the top prospects.
Domani Jackson’s NFL Draft Potential
Domani Jackson was a fringe first-round prospect for me entering the year. At 6’0″, 195 pounds, he’s an S-tier athlete with true class-pacing speed, explosiveness, short-area twitch, correction, and recovery ability. His 2024 tape was stellar, but in 2025, costly lapses in discipline have compounded, and he’s now seen himself filtered out of the starting lineup. Jackson’s athletic gifts will still be impossible for NFL teams to pass up, but he has to improve his situational awareness to keep a role on Sundays past spot-starter availability. If he can improve his discipline, he has impact starter potential.
“Potential” is becoming a more and more distant word for Jackson, however, who has been unseated by true freshman Dijon Lee Jr. as a starter in 2025. And when Jackson has been on the field, there have been costly lapses both in catch-point and run support discipline. That lack of discipline and consistency in contact situations has proven to be a death knell for Jackson’s early-round placement.
Unfortunately for Jackson, he’s a true senior who has no eligibility remaining, and no room to take a redshirt. He’ll have to make the leap to the NFL, and he’ll be a confounding evaluation for NFL minds. At his best in 2024, Jackson’s tape was worthy of early-round consideration, but he’ll be a reclamation project in the pros. He ran a 10.25 100-meter dash in high school and will test off the charts, and it’s not just testing athleticism; he has elite coverage mobility with his hip fluidity, reactionary twitch, and vertical speed. That alone will earn professional allure.
Nevertheless, Jackson must improve his situational awareness, discipline, and ball skills if he is to become a full-time starter in the NFL. Otherwise, he’ll max out as a boom-or-bust journeyman who travels from team to team as a depth piece.
