Just a few weeks shy of the 2025 NFL Draft, Tyreek Hill has found a way — yet again — to take over the rumor cycle.
Thanks to some cryptic TikTok posts and a heartfelt goodbye to retiring Dolphins teammate Terron Armstead, he’s been in the spotlight recently.
Now, he’s back at it, as Hill fueled more speculation with a one-emoji post that gave fans nothing but his trademark peace sign.

Tyreek Hill Drops Peace Sign on Social Media, Ignites (More) Trade Speculation
At this point, it feels like a monthly tradition for Hill to get frustrated with Dolphins brass for one reason or another. So fans probably aren’t shocked to see him stir things up again, this time with a peace sign posted to Twitter — an image open to almost every interpretation.

First, take a look at the replies under that post. It’s clear most NFL fans are over the drama — and armed with plenty of memes for every time Hill starts another round of social media speculation.
Second, it’s evident that Hill has made a second career out of trolling fans and media online. This could be another one of those moments where he drops bait and watches everyone scramble for meaning where there is none.
Of course, it could also just be a well-timed touchdown reference. The peace sign is Hill’s go-to celebration move after scoring. Sure, that’s the simplest explanation — but believing that means ignoring Hill’s social media track record. At this point, he might not even know why he posts half of what he does.
When he’s not stirring the pot online, Hill remains one of the most explosive receivers of his generation. With nearly 800 catches and over 11,000 yards in nine seasons with the Chiefs and Dolphins, the 31-year-old is still on a Hall of Fame trajectory.
This past season wasn’t as dominant as his first two years in Miami — where he had back-to-back 119-catch, 1,700-yard seasons — but he still pulled in 81 receptions for 959 yards. That’s despite the Dolphins’ shaky quarterback situation, which saw more rotation than rhythm.
The 2024 season also marked the first time Hill missed the playoffs in his career, which helped spark the early offseason rumors he wanted out. But the Dolphins are in a tight financial spot. They restructured Hill’s deal last offseason, giving him the most guaranteed money ever on a wide receiver contract.
A trade would be a shock, especially with head coach Mike McDaniel coaching for his job after a disastrous year. So, even if Hill wants out, expect to see him back in a Dolphins uniform for Week 1 of the 2025 season.
