Dolphins Star Tyreek Hill Rips Bills Defense, Calling Out Buffalo’s Strategy For Covering Him in Fiery NSFW Rant

Tyreek Hill is clearly not a fan of the Buffalo Bills as the Miami Dolphins star calls out their defense after a pair of wins for Buffalo last season.

The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills might not have one of the greatest rivalries in NFL history, but they’re the top two teams in the AFC East. After the Bills took care of business in both games last season, Tyreek Hill made his thoughts clear when he was given a microphone at Fanatics Fest.

Tyreek Hill Goes off on Buffalo Bills Defense Against Him

After finishing 8-9 last season, the Dolphins severely underperformed. It took them overtime to beat the New York Jets in their first meeting, and they ended up losing to them in the final game of the regular season. While they looked good in their first game of the year, things quickly went downhill, and fans were more than worried when they lost to the Tennessee Titans, 31-12.

Injuries are going to hold a team back, but Tua Tagovailoa’s injury hurts everyone involved. Hill wasn’t able to perform to the best of his abilities last season, finishing under 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since 2019. He played just 12 games in 2019, but otherwise, he’s finished with 1,000+ in each season since 2017.

Buffalo took down Miami, 31-10, in Week 2, and then beat them 30-27 in Week 9. Tagovailoa was replaced by Skylar Thompson in the first meeting, but played a nearly flawless game in their rematch seven weeks later. Regardless, Hill didn’t hold back on the Bills’ defense.

“Whenever we play the Bills, those guys typically play Cover Four because they’re a bunch of b*****,” Hill said. In a response to the post, Fantasy Points Data pointed out that the Bills have a 73% rate of two-high coverage against the Dolphins in 2024 compared to 52.7% against all other teams.

Considering those two games, Hill came out of the Week 2 matchup with just three receptions for 24 yards. The Tagovailoa injury certainly came into play as Hill had one carry for 12 yards. That was his first of the season as he would only attempt a run in five games. While it seems like 24 receiving yards would be Hill’s lowest total for the season, he finished with just 23 against the Titans and a minuscule eight yards against the Colts.

After an explosive 130 receiving yard effort in Week 1 against the Jaguars, Hill would only surpass 100+ yards two other times later in the season. Hill rebounded from the eight-yard game with 72 against the Arizona Cardinals, and he would then have four receptions for 80 yards in the rematch with the Bills. Hill’s six-season touchdowns tied the lowest of his career, with him not able to find the endzone in either of those games.
