The Carolina Panthers head into 2025 with Bryce Young, whose late heroics from last season have made him a potential franchise quarterback.
Drafted first overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, former Alabama Crimson Tide prospect Young was tasked with leading a rebuild in Carolina. And while all eyes are on his play on the field, there are questions surrounding his potential love life as well. However, Young’s dating adventures appear to be a complete mystery.
Bryce Young’s Dating History
At the time Young was drafted, he was reported as single and never having been married. The 22-year-old Panthers quarterback has been linked to model Sydney Brooke and his college friend Madison Holley, but neither was confirmed to be more than friends.
Young’s private life has rarely been revealed, aside from his dedication to Christianity and focus on family. He appears to be centered on his new NFL career and establishing himself as one of the league’s best quarterbacks.

In August 2023, Young was seen walking into training camp with a mystery woman. She is reported to be his girlfriend, but her name is unknown. It is speculated that they met during their time at the University of Alabama.

There have been no reported appearances or sightings of the couple since then. Young’s Instagram account shows no traces of her or him being involved with anyone else, nor has he ever spoken publicly about his dating life. Aside from this video, his private life is kept exactly as that.
A Look at Young’s Career
Philadelphia-born Young played college football at the University of Alabama and holds records for the most passing yards in a single game for a Crimson Tide quarterback.

In 2012, he won the Heisman Trophy, SEC Offensive Player of the Year, AP College Football Player of the Year, and the Manning Award. In early 2023, he declared for the 2023 NFL Draft and was one of the highest-ranked prospects overall.
Young has so far started 28 games across his first two seasons in the league. During this span, he has thrown for 5,280 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 19 interceptions, completing 60.3% of his throws.
Head coach Dave Canales benched the Panthers’ quarterback in his sophomore season. However, he has not looked back since being given the opportunity to start again.
In the last 10 games of the 2024 NFL season, Young threw for 2,104 yards, 15 touchdowns, and six interceptions, completing 61.8% of his throws with a passer rating of 88.9.
Based on PFSN’s QB+ metric, the Panthers’ star was the 28th-best quarterback in the league last season.
Preview for Panthers vs. Browns Week 1 Preseason Game
Shedeur Sanders will make his NFL debut against the Panthers. With Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel nursing hamstring injuries, the Cleveland Browns will give Sanders an opportunity to prove his worth.
He will share game time with Tyler Huntley, but the former Colorado quarterback should have enough time to leave an impression.
As for the Panthers, Young and the other starters are likely to play against the Browns. It is an excellent opportunity for the young Panthers roster to get valuable reps and cement their spot.
Along with Sanders, Carolina’s Tetairoa McMillan will also make his NFL debut in Week 1 of the preseason.
