The Chicago Bears, especially Caleb Williams and DJ Moore, finally gave their fans a moment that felt bigger than a single win against the Green Bay Packers. And it wasn’t just about the 22-16 OT victory or the opponent; it was a statement before entering the playoffs, thanks to a 46-yard game-winning touchdown.
What Did Bears WR DJ Moore Say About Caleb Williams After the OT Win?
No one captured that better than WR1 Moore with two simple words that spoke volumes about where this team thinks it’s headed. After Williams delivered a late, game-winning touchdown, the star wide receiver made his stance crystal clear about the franchise quarterback.
When FOX Sports posted a video of Williams sharing his thoughts with NFL legend Tom Brady on X, Moore reacted to it, quoting a two-word message to the franchise QB, “My QB 🤞.”
In the video, the sophomore quarterback dropped dimes answering question after question. Brady asked Williams, “What is going through your mind when that ball is kind of at the top of its arc, and you’re seeing DJ running free on the corner?” And Williams’ answer reflected what might have been waiting since last year’s (5-12)Â losing season.
“Yeah, it’s something we practice all week,” Williams said, who threw for 250 yards in the game, completing 19 out of 34 passes while scoring two touchdowns.
“It’s something we hit in practice, and it’s something like you just said. This past week or whatever it was, I saw it. Go out there, and you practice these things. You practice with a certain competitiveness to you and a certain tenaciousness at practice, and you come out and you know, you let that ball go, you know, it’s good,” the former first-round draft pick added. He lastly put every playoff contender on notice, saying, “We’re gonna fight until the clock says zero and from there. We’ll give it our best shot.”
But after the Bears won the game and confetti all over the place, the star of the matchup, Moore, did not miss the chance to troll the Packers and fans. The locker room video shows his hilarious gesture towards the Packers.
Moore Hilariously Trolled the Packers
After catching the game-winning touchdown in the Bears’ dramatic comeback victory over the Green Bay Packers, DJ Moore made sure the celebration carried extra meaning.
In the locker room, Moore was spotted wearing a foam cheese grater on his head, a clear jab at the Packers’ famous cheesehead hats and their fan base. The visual was impossible to miss, especially given the long history and bitterness of the rivalry.

When the 2024 NFL Draft took place in Green Bay, former Packers star Clay Matthews set the tone by leading a loud “Bears still suck” chant that quickly spread through the crowd and played out on national television. And now, Moore has answered in his own way, flipping the script and sending a message back to Green Bay with a moment Bears fans won’t forget.
Moore leaned into the moment, using humor to twist the knife after a painful loss for Green Bay. Even before that wood to fire, he also teased rivals, saying, “At the end of the day, it’s F the Packers always.”

But Moore’s postgame demeanor made it clear he understood exactly what beating the Packers means in Chicago. The hat served as a symbolic reversal of years of Packers dominance in the rivalry, which turned one of their most recognizable symbols into a punchline.
The Bears are now sitting at the top position in the NFC North with 11 wins and four losses. While Packer still needs two wins to match their divisional rivals, it would not be an exaggeration to say the Bears won’t back up in the next two games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions.
