The Cleveland Browns selected quarterback Dillon Gabriel in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft, and according to a new viral video, he had predicted it in a rather unique and humorous manner.

Dillon Gabriel Goes Viral for Unique Draft Prediction
Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel spent six years in college football, starting in each of them. He made a name for himself in his first two seasons at UCF, before a broken clavicle ended his season prematurely. He subsequently transferred to Oklahoma, spending another two seasons there before transferring once more to Oregon.
In six seasons, Gabriel threw for 17,419 passing yards and 144 touchdowns. He has more experience than any other QB in the draft, and the Cleveland Browns locked him down with the 94th pick in the third round.
In a new viral video sponsored by Toyota USA, Gabriel appeared to have predicted the pick via communication with… birds.
In the post uploaded on Instagram on Monday, Gabriel is seen making a bird call, and when a bird call is heard in the background, he says:
“Cleveland Browns, 94, that’s what he said.”
The post then continues into the next day, when Gabriel got the call from the Browns to let him know they were taking him with the 94th pick.
Fans are now calling him ‘Dr. Dolittle’ in the comments, while others seem to believe Gabriel had known for days that that was where he’d be going.
The Browns had spent dinners with the Oregon quarterback, and there was significant mutual interest between the two sides in the lead-up to the draft. Of course, that now becomes more complicated given the Brown fifth-round pick, or does it?
If Cleveland were so heavily invested in Gabriel, enough to spend a third-round draft pick on him, Shedeur Sanders’ window of opportunity grows even smaller.
Overcrowded Quarterback Room in Cleveland
It’s going to be a media frenzy in Cleveland this offseason, whether they want it to be or not. Deshaun Watson’s Achilles injury could take him out of the picture for a large portion of the 2025 season, and there’s a chance he has played his last down for the franchise.
Joe Flacco signed on a one-year, $4.25 million contract to be the veteran presence on the roster, and the Browns traded a 5th rounder for Kenny Pickett in the weeks leading up to the draft.
With Gabriel and Sanders added to the roster, there are now five quarterbacks on the Cleveland roster, which is more than any other franchise in the NFL. If Watson goes on IR to start the year, the Browns can technically carry four quarterbacks, but there’s almost certainly no room for five.
The Browns could bring three on the 53-man active roster, and then potentially have a fourth on their practice squad. It’s going to be a tense battle all the way up to final roster cuts, and the Browns’ preseason games will make for must-watch TV.
