Deshaun Watson Player Props, Betting Lines, Odds, and Picks for Browns vs. Steelers

We break down the Deshaun Watson player props market and make a best bet prediction for tonight's Browns vs. Steelers matchup.

While the Browns were impressive in Week 1, Deshaun Watson was not, throwing for well under 200 yards again and finishing with a passer rating under 70. Taking on a Steelers team that is desperate for a win isn’t exactly a remedy for whatever QB problems he may be having. There is a large variety of player props for Watson this week, and we’ll give you the one we think will hit tonight.

Watson Betting Trends and Stats

Watson has thrown for less than 160 yards and had a passer rating under 70 three times in seven starts with the Browns. In 54 starts with the Texans, Watson had zero such games.

Watson Best Bet

Things have not gone that smoothly since Watson arrived on the field for the Browns last season. The Browns are 4-3 since he became a starter, but Watson’s passer rating with the Browns (77.4) has been nowhere near what it was with the Texans (104.5).

Among the many issues is an inability to throw the ball downfield. Watson averaged just 5.3 yards per pass attempt last week. This from a guy who in his last season with Houston led the NFL in this category (8.9).

While I don’t see him changing anything and suddenly throwing it downfield on the Steelers, I think he will be able to go over the completions total in his player prop for tonight.

Deshaun Watson Best Bet: Over 17.5 pass completions (+105 at DraftKings)
