Deion Sanders’ Daughter Shares 2-Word Reaction to Travis Hunter’s Wife Leanna’s Baby Announcement

While the couple has mostly kept their son out of the public eye, Travis Hunter's wife, Leanna Lenee, shared a few rare family pictures on Instagram.

If life had a habit of giving out plot twists, Travis Hunter’s past year would qualify as a full-blown bestseller. The Jacksonville Jaguars’ rookie, already balancing the pressure of being the No. 2 overall draft pick, quietly stepped into an entirely new role this summer, which is fatherhood. In August, Hunter and his wife, Leanna De La Fuente, shared the journey through a YouTube vlog.

From the positive pregnancy test to the first cries in the delivery room, the video has one especially touching detail: Leanna had written down a dream weeks earlier predicting they were having a baby boy “with lots and lots of curly hair.” As it turned out, she was right.

Deion Sanders’ Daughter on Travis Hunter’s Wife’s IG Post

While the couple has mostly kept their son out of the public eye, Leanna Lenee shared a few rare family pictures on Instagram. Posting a small set of photos of herself, Hunter, and their baby, she wrote: “When 2 became 3…🤍”

Among the many comments, Deion Sanders’ (Travis Hunter’s college football coach) daughter, Deiondra Sanders, wrote: “Adorable omg.”

Hunter and Leanna’s relationship dates back to their high school days at Collins Hill in Suwanee, Georgia. They stayed together through his college years at Jackson State and Colorado, getting engaged in February 2024 and marrying the next May. By late summer, their lives had changed again with the birth of their son.

Of course, Hunter’s rookie year on the field also brought its own turn. He suffered a right knee injury during a Jaguars practice on Oct. 30, later undergoing LCL surgery on Nov. 11. Doctors confirmed there was no ACL damage, and his recovery timeline is expected to span six months, which means he will return to football activity in May.

Before the injury, Hunter was incredible. In seven games, he recorded 28 receptions for 298 yards and a touchdown, while also playing on defense with 11 tackles and three pass breakups. His best performance came in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams, when he caught eight passes for 101 yards and his first NFL touchdown, a glimpse of the future that would briefly pause.

The Jaguars, in the meantime, have no plans to limit his versatility. General manager James Gladstone confirmed the team still intends to use Hunter on both offense and defense when he returns in the next season, particularly talking about his place at cornerback amid roster changes.
