‘On the Other Side’ — NFL Podcaster Speculates Dalvin Cook ‘Knows Something’ About ESPN’s Matt Miller Amid Scam Allegations

Despite disappearing out of the NFL limelight, Dalvin Cook has been spreading the word about Matt Miller's controversies. What does Cook know?

The NFL world hasn’t heard from Dalvin Cook for a while. Although it feels like forever, Cook actually saw a two-game stint with the Dallas Cowboys in 2024.

Perhaps the most amazing part is that he’s still just 30 years old, yet there are never any rumors linking him to another team or even a hint that he has a chance at playing a ninth NFL season.

Cook is back in the news, not because of anything he may be able to offer on the football field, but possibly for something he can offer away from the gridiron.

Does Dalvin Cook Have Dirt on Matt Miller?

One person who’s been relentless in his coverage of the Dianna Russini scandal and now the latest developments involving ESPN NFL analyst Matt Miller is “Last Men Standing” podcast host Tony Farmer.

While he’s been all over the latest happenings with both stories, what Farmer had to say about Miller was particularly fascinating. According to Farmer, Cook may have some dirt on Miller.

“Dalvin Cook is very interested in the Matt Miller story, which has to do with a financial investigation,” Farmer said. “I counted nine different retweets this month from Dalvin Cook… Dalvin Cook, who gave an autographed jersey apparently to Miller to be auctioned off for charity, is reposting an article about Miller’s ‘charitable efforts’ facing scrutiny. I think Dalvin Cook knows something. That’s why I want to talk to Dalvin Cook. I think Dalvin Cook knows something about Miller.”

It’s a fascinating thought, and it makes one wonder what Cook’s point of view is on the whole situation. Hopefully, Cook does reach out to Farmer to offer whatever insight he may have. After all, Farmer notes that “it’s odd” for a former NFL’er like Cook to be so curious about an “ESPN personality.”

“Matt Miller scouted Cook coming out of college. Matt Miller had a lot of great things to say about Dalvin Cook,” Farmer added. “They may have this apparent arrangement. Now all of a sudden, Cook’s not like Adam Schefter, supporting Miller, and donating to Matt Miller’s GoFundMe page.”

Farmer continued, “No, Dalvin Cook’s on the other side, reposting nine different times on Twitter, information about Matt Miller’s AG investigation. Perhaps it’s personal with Dalvin Cook, but I think Dalvin Cook knows a little something about Miller.”

Well, now we’re itching to find out what Cook may or may not know about Miller’s past and/or his current allegations of fraud. As Farmer points out, the former running back’s social media activity is filled with him essentially trying to spread the word about the controversy. Perhaps it’s a way for Cook to say, “I told you so.”
