Nick ͏Jones, a ͏devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, has͏ captured national attention, not for cheering on his team,͏ but for inking the likeness of rival tight end͏ Travis Kelce in a hilarious and͏ bold pin-up style. ͏What began as a quirky online͏ challenge quickly turned into one ͏of the most talked͏-about fan ͏tattoos in recent memory, and Jones͏ is ͏now sharing exactly how and why it happened.
Cowboys Fan Reveals Wild Reason Behind His Travis Kelce Pin-Up Tattoo
The story traces back to a promotional challenge posted by Accelerator Energy Drink. The company, inspired by the viral attention surrounding another fan’s tattoo of Jason Kelce, offered a substantial reward to anyone willing to get a Travis Kelce-themed pin-up tattoo. Nick Jones, despite his allegiance to the Cowboys, was intrigued.
There is no ‘Shaking it off’, quite ‘Fearless’ to say the least as this ‘Blank Space’ now gone…

“I had to help Travis, you know, get a little bit bigger, better of a tattoo,” Jones said. “So I saw their post, I thought the Jason Kelce tattoo was hilarious. And so figured, you know what? Wonder if they’re serious.”
It turns out they were. The offer on the table was generous, including free Accelerator products and a signed Travis Kelce jersey. Jones couldn’t resist. “They made me an offer. It was a hell of an offer. So I said, You know what? I got to do this.”
The tattoo itself is outrageous and carefully designed for impact. The 29-year-old proudly noted that in his version, the can positioned on Kelce’s crotch is “bigger than the Eagle head between JK’s legs,” referencing the earlier Jason Kelce tattoo that set the trend.
While the design may raise eyebrows, Jones has no regrets. He sees it not just as ink but as a conversation starter packed with personality and humor. “The tattoo comes with the story. So a tattoo with a good story on it is key. But I think it’s a badass tattoo. It’s gonna be a fun conversation starter, and it was a bang-up job. So no, there’s absolutely no plan. I’m going to show it off.”
When asked how he thought pop star Taylor Swift, Kelce’s high-profile girlfriend, might react to the artwork, Jones kept the spirit lighthearted. “My feeling is she would love it, just the fun nature of it,” he said.
With the Chiefs scheduled to face the Cowboys in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day, Jones might have the perfect stage to flaunt his now-famous tattoo. On whether he plans to attend, he kept the door open: “Anything is possible,” he said.
From team loyalty to tattoo infamy, Nick Jones’ story is a wild ride through football fandom, marketing stunts, and unforgettable ink.
