The Buffalo Bills have always had a passionate, die-hard fan base known as “Bills Mafia.” Their wild tailgating antics — especially the now-famous table-jumping — have gone viral on social media more times than fans can count.
Bills fans are nothing if not loyal. The team went through a rough stretch in the 2000s with very few playoff appearances. The Bills have been to the Super Bowl four times — all in the early 1990s — and lost all four.

Bills’ Josh Allen Has Stolen Kelly Clarkson Away From Dallas Cowboys
While Bills fans have always shown up, they’ve had even more reason to cheer since Buffalo drafted quarterback Josh Allen with the No. 7 pick in 2018.
Allen has led the Bills to the playoffs every year since 2019, including two AFC Championship appearances. His big arm, mobility, and playmaking ability have made him a fan favorite—and now, it looks like he’s won over a celebrity fan, too.
Kelly Clarkson recently interviewed actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and revealed she’s jumped ship from her longtime team. During the show, Steinfeld pointed out that Clarkson was wearing a blue Bills jacket with the team name and logo. Clarkson brushed her hair aside to show it off and admitted that Allen helped sway her fandom.
“Look, I’m a Cowboys girl, but when I move somewhere, I like to pick a local team, and there are three here, but really there’s just one, and it’s the Bills,” Clarkson told Steinfeld. “I love the Bills. And congratulations—Joshua was actually my quarterback for my fantasy football team, and he killed it for me! So you tell him thank you, you bada** motherf*****!”
Clarkson was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and grew up a Cowboys fan. She rose to fame after winning the first season of “American Idol.” Since then, she’s built a successful career in music and television, winning multiple awards, including a Grammy and a Daytime Emmy for her talk show.

She previously lived in Los Angeles with her former husband and their children, but after their separation, she made a fresh start and moved herself — and her show — to New York City.
Clarkson Picked a Winner in Allen
In PFSN’s 2024 QB+ metric, Allen ranked third overall among NFL quarterbacks, trailing only Lamar Jackson and Jared Goff. He earned a regular season grade of 91.7 (an A-) and a slightly higher 91.8 in the playoffs.
The report noted Allen’s biggest issues came under pressure and on third downs. He converted 44.4% of third downs during the regular season, but that dropped to just 35.7% in their AFC Championship loss.
Buffalo has made its commitment to Allen clear, signing him to a six-year, $330 million deal that includes $250 million guaranteed — the most ever guaranteed to an NFL player.
Now the Bills have to focus on surrounding Allen with more weapons and strengthening their defense if they want to finally break through and win that elusive Super Bowl.
