The Cowboys-Commanders broadcast starts at 1:00 p.m. ET, with longtime broadcaster Ian Eagle handling play-by-play duties. Eagle is one of sports broadcasting’s most versatile voices, having called NCAA March Madness, NBA games, the French Open, and the Army-Navy rivalry game.

Nate Burleson, a former NFL wide receiver with a decade-long career for teams including the Vikings, Seahawks, and Lions, joins as a co-analyst. Burleson now co-hosts CBS’s The NFL Today and has a prominent role on CBS Mornings.

Also joining the booth as a color analyst is Matt Ryan, former Atlanta Falcons quarterback and 2016 NFL MVP. Ryan made four Pro Bowl teams before retiring and transitioning to broadcasting with CBS.

On the sidelines, Sara Walsh will report from the field. Walsh previously worked for ESPN from 2010 to 2017, anchoring SportsCenter and hosting NFL Live. She is also a regular contributor on the NFL Network.

Melanie Collins, a CBS Sports sideline reporter, will provide postgame interviews and insights. She also appears on ESPN’s SportsNation to offer analysis and updates from inside the league.

Gene Steratore, former NFL official and rules analyst for CBS Sports, will break down any close calls during both games, giving viewers an expert perspective on the field.

With a mix of seasoned broadcasters, former NFL stars, and high-profile personalities, Netflix has assembled a star-studded team to headline its Christmas Day coverage. While the Cowboys and Commanders may be playing for pride, the broadcast promises top-tier analysis and entertainment, with Grammy-winning singer Kelly Clarkson set to kick off the festivities with a performance of “Underneath the Tree.”
