Connor Lew’s NFL Draft Potential
Connor Lew’s ranking will likely go down a bit on the next update, and there’s a chance he returns to school now that a torn ACL has prematurely ended his 2025 season and placed his pre-draft process in question. At the same time, Lew — who doesn’t turn 21 years old until next August — had high grades this cycle, and could still capitalize as a relatively pro-ready prospect.
At around 6’3″, 303 pounds, Lew has the desired build for the center position. He’s not the heaviest or the most physically imposing, but he has good compact mass to go along with great natural leverage, stellar functional athleticism, and passable play strength.
In the passing game, he’s shown he can stay square to rushers and anchor effectively, while in the run game, he’s an incredibly angle-sound, assignment-sound player who does his job, and has the high-level hip flexibility and recovery athleticism to reach landmarks and reposition.
Lew is a well-rounded prospect, but there’s one deficiency in his scouting report: Power. Lew visibly lacks high-end mass and length, and he’s simply not a consistent displacer off the line, nor is he an elite finisher. Lew does his job and does it well with his natural athleticism and leverage, and that alone should make him a potential Top 100 pick if he declares. That said, his athleticism, smooth play style, and malleability comes at the cost of raw force.
