“Bye week wanders ☀️🌊🐠🌠 Grateful for the chance to spend a few days with people who make my heart so full. 🥰 It’s been a whirlwind lately as I’ve been getting ready for something I cannot wait to share with this community, and stepping away for a moment with some of my favorite humans was exactly what my soul needed. … Feeling refreshed, grounded, and so thankful as we head into the busiest (and truly the most wonderful) time of the year. ❄️✨” she captioned the post.

Continuing the theme, she posted another carousel on Thursday that summed up the calm she finds near the ocean. “When in doubt, do what the waves do, show up, soften, and keep moving,” she captioned the collection. Hunt also added that she is thankful for her surroundings, which include the sunshine and the space to breathe.

As the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, she has built a strong presence in the sports world. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management and broadcast journalism from Southern Methodist University and is pursuing a master’s in sports management at the University of Kansas.

This brief getaway was made possible by the Chiefs’ bye week, which created a perfect window for the team to reset. After losing 28-21 to the Buffalo Bills in Week 9, the team will return to the field in Week 11 for a road matchup against the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs currently has a 5-4 record on the season and ranks third in the AFC West.
