When Caleb Williams stepped into the Chicago Bears locker room survey about Love Island, he wasn’t just answering questions. He was about to put two teammates on the reality TV map, and one of them is already making it clear he’s ready to swap his helmet for villa drama.
Which Bears Teammate Did Chicago QB Caleb Williams Choose for Love Island?
Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams picked CB Kyler Gordon and WR John Jackson III as his Love Island nominees from the Bears roster. Both players are 25 years old, putting them in the perfect age range for the hit reality show. With love not being easy to find, Peacock has been the destination for viewers to see relationships blossom in the Villa.
While there isn’t much time before the 2025 season kicks off, Williams won’t be forgetting what Jackson said. An NFL player would likely do wonders for a show already topping viewership charts.

The Bears made a post on Instagram where they surveyed the team about who should go on Love Island. The players were first asked who their favorite Islander is, with three votes for Amaya, two for Ace, and two for Taylor. Clarke and Nic were honorable mentions.
Meanwhile, the Bears players voted in unison for the next question. In total, 92% of the team said they’d rather leave with money than love.
Why Did the Bears Choose Money Over Love?
In a unique twist, Love Island isn’t always about finding the love of your life. Many would expect NFL players to prioritize a relationship, as they’re already making tons of money, but that proved not to be the case.
The Bears’ final question asked who on the team should go on Love Island, with Williams reacting accordingly.

“Me???” the second-year quarterback said in response to his name being on the board. He then tagged Gordon and Jackson, saying, “def one of them.”
Gordon’s name was mentioned three times, as his response to the question was, “Riq #29 from the Everglades to everlasting love.” Once Gordon saw he was voted by three of his teammates, he responded, “A HOF season right there” as he tagged Jackson.
Jackson nominated himself to be on the show, as his “me no cap” response told the team everything they needed to know. He later posted, “Let’s talk about it” as it’s clear the Nevada graduate has his sights set on appearing on the show.

Gordon is the longest tenured player out of these three, as Williams and Jackson joined the team in 2024. The Bears do not have an easy start to their 2025 season as they play a pair of divisional opponents.
