‘He’s Got Dudes’ — RJ Young Drops Bold 40-TD Prediction for Oregon QB Dante Moore

Fox Sports Analyst RJ Young makes bold prediction for Oregon Quarterback Dante Moore ahead of his first season as the starter for the Ducks in the Big Ten.

On the most recent episode of the Adapt and Respond podcast, Fox Sports Analyst RJ Young made five bold predictions for the Big Ten going into the 2025-26 season. The conference looks to continue its dominance following the Buckeyes’ title win last year.

While the Big Ten has won a total of 32 NCAA college football national championships, the most of any conference, Oregon joined the conference last season and went unbeaten in the regular season. However, they are still in the hunt for a National Championship.

‘Expect The Heisman Conversation To Pick Up’ RJ Young Drops Bold Prediction For Oregon QB Dante Moore.

On the most recent episode of his podcast, the Fox Sports analyst revealed five bold predictions he had for the Big Ten going into the 2025-26 season, including one involving the Oregon Ducks and their Quarterback Dante Moore.

“The next one is, Dante Moore throws for 4,000 yards and 40 TDs at Oregon this season, I realise that this is wishful thinking for some, but really I’m thinking about Will Stein, and the Oregon track record, and just how talented he is,” Young claimed boldly.

Moore was a five-star recruit in the Class of 2023, the third-ranked player overall, and the second-ranked quarterback in that recruiting cycle. In his freshman season at UCLA, he completed 53.5 percent of passes for 1,610 yards and 11 touchdowns.

“Remember the last two guys they had start at Oregon, Bo Nix and Dillon Gabriel, both that are guys whom are capable of 4,000-yard passing seasons, and had Gabriel come through with one of those, we’re talking the all-time passing leader.”

Under Offensive Coordinator Will Stein last season, Gabriel led the Ducks to a 13-1 record and a conference title, finishing the season with 3,660 yards and 30 touchdowns in his first season for Oregon, with Dante Moore sitting behind him.

With both Gabriel and Nix making the Heisman final with Oregon, the Fox Sports analyst boldly claimed that if Moore were to perform well in the Ducks’ whiteout game against Penn State next season, he, too, would make the Heisman conversation.

“It’s gonna be a lot of fun, Dante Moore’s gonna get the full dose there, but if he plays well in that game, expect the Heisman conversation to pick up around a guy that we all know is really talented, he’s got dudes like Malik Benson, Dakorian Moore, a great Offensive line.”

“He’s got all the things there, it’s just about him putting it together for what I really think will be an outstanding season,” Young concluded his prediction.

With a clash between two potential top ten teams scheduled for September next year, between the Oregon Ducks and Penn State, Moore will finally have his chance to step up in a game Young believes will be make or break for the Quarterback’s career.

The Nittany Lions made their Sept. 27 game against the Oregon Ducks this year’s White Out, with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on NBC.
