Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck transferred from Georgia before this season started, and Miami fans were probably hoping to see a lot from Beck on the field.
While Beck did lead Miami into a College Football Playoff first-round game against the Texas A&M Aggies on the road on Saturday at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, he’s not playing well at all.
In fact, there are some onlookers to Saturday’s game that are flat-out disgusted by Beck’s performance.
Fans Are Not Happy With Miami QB Carson Beck’s Performance
In the third quarter, Beck led the Hurricanes down close to the Texas A&M end zone, but could not get into the end zone. Miami settled for a field goal, the game’s first points, and took a 3-0 lead.
Beck, so far, is 11-of-16 passing for 76 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions. His play on the field has been erratic. For some college football fans watching this game, they might not be able to believe that Beck once led the Georgia Bulldogs’ offense.
Will Simpson, who was watching the game on TV, posted on X, “Carson beck transferring to miami just to lose in the first round is the funniest timeline imaginable”. Another college football fan named Chaz wrote on X, “Miami offense is trash. Carson beck is horrible at QB”.

Franklin, who is a University of South Florida graduate, had a couple of things to say about Beck: “Carson Beck was brought to Miami for these exact games. Offense has totaled 69 yards. Embarrassing”.
Brandon Moore happened to read a post on X from ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky and had something to say to him. Moore wrote on X, “Dan, I’m a better QB than Carson Beck.”

Sports Enthusiast wasn’t that impressed by Beck’s play as well. This person posted this on X: “Carson beck doesn’t even look like a veteran QB out there. Throwing it outta bounds twice with a time out just doesn’t make sense. Give your guy a chance you never know”.
According to the PFSN CFB QB Impact metrics, heading into Saturday’s game in College Station, Beck had an impact score of 83.3 and graded out to a B.
Well, that “B” grade probably would get knocked down a grade or two if it were up to Miami fans and college football onlookers on Saturday.
