EA Sports College Football 26 is bringing a fresh layer of excitement to the virtual gridiron, giving fans a new way to celebrate big moments. After unveiling high-end graphics, a completely revamped Dynasty mode, and a new health pool feature, it is review time for some of the game’s latest drops.
The recent preview showed off interactive touchdown celebrations that add fun and personality after scoring. The community’s reaction was positive throughout the entire preview video. But when the final celebration revealed Cam Ward’s iconic end zone move, fans started to outburst.
Cam Ward’s Iconic Move Featured in College Football 26’s New Celebration System
With the game’s official release just around one week away, EA Sports has officially turned the end zone into a dancing floor. Fans are now getting their first look at every new post-touchdown celebration system. This update includes twelve unique animations, ranging from classic moves to viral sensations. Each celebration is triggered by running to specific hotspots in the end zone within five seconds of scoring.
A preview video on X shared by @TheHollywoodBud showcases all twelve celebrations in sequence. The animations are titled: Reach Low Flex, Step Back On Em, Shake With It, Wavy Walk, Get Your Roll On, Rodeo, Bounce On Em, Run Up Flex, Two Step Shuffle, Candy Karate, Blinded, and Wait For It.

Out of all the touchdown dances in the preview, the one called “Blinded” is getting the most attention. It looks just like Ward’s famous “Zombieland” celebration, where the player covers their mouth with one hand and sticks the other arm straight out. The celebration became a fan favorite during Ward’s final season in college football.
However, many fans believe EA Sports added this celebration too late. The former Miami QB is no longer in college. He is now in the NFL after the Tennessee Titans picked him No. 1 overall in the draft.
Some argue that the iconic move should have been included last season when it was at its peak popularity. One fan commented, “Cam Ward not even in college no more lol. It’s too late for that celly. I doubt they gonna do that this year.”
One X user literally burst out in frustration at EA Sports, saying, “So these m***** truckers added Shedeur’s watch celly in the middle of last season, but didn’t add this? And now that Cam is gone, they put it in? I’m not mad–just don’t understand.”

Some users even took issue with the name. Many believe it should have been called “Zombieland” instead of “Blinded.” Another wrote, “Them names ain’t right for nothing… plus that’s Al from Love Don’t Cost a Thing and Travis Hunter’s celly too.”

While the celebration preview has sparked some debate, most fans are still excited about the new system.
