Eli Manning Discusses Marshall and Arch Manning’s Football Futures

In a recent episode of “Bussin’ With The Boys,” Eli Manning shared what it is like for him to watch Arch and Marshall Manning following in his family’s footsteps.

“I think it’s great,” Eli said. “I mean, I love it.”

Marshall currently attends Baylor School and has already started making headlines on the national stage. He recently drew huge attention during the Music City Mayhem event at Oakland High School, where he brilliantly performed in a 7-on-7 showcase. Marshall displayed confidence, delivering several pinpoint throws and flashing the raw arm talent that has already generated excitement around his future.

As for Arch, expectations continue to rise entering the 2026 season. His season did not begin smoothly last year, but he finished strong and showed why many believe he could become one of college football’s breakout stars. The Texas quarterback ended the season with an 83.1 grade in the PFSN College Football QB Impact Metric, and analysts expect him to take a major step forward in both production and efficiency this season.

Eli has closely followed Arch’s development over the years and understands just how high his ceiling can be. Many around college football believe the redshirt junior is on the verge of a massive breakout season, and Eli’s comments reflected both his support and his confidence in his nephew.

“I support Arch and have been watching him throw since he was little,” Eli said. “(I’m) always just kind of like, ‘Hey, if you need anything, I’m here for you…I remember Arch got his first playing time two years ago at the end of a game. I could tell on film that he kind of forced a throw into a cover two, like tried to throw an out and a cover two, ended up throwing over the guy’s head.

“Got to the sideline and like Sark was just ripping him and my text was like, ‘Hey, did Sark rip you cuz you tried to throw an out in the cover two?’ And he’s like that’s actually exactly what happened. He showed Sark, and I was like, Yeah, ‘you might not want to do that’.

“So that was my advice. I wasn’t like, ‘Hey, you got to keep your eyes down the middle.’ I’m like, ‘this is for you to enjoy.’”

The Manning family has plenty of reasons to be optimistic about Arch’s future at Texas, as the Longhorns have made several major roster moves aimed at putting their young quarterback in the best possible position to succeed. Among the biggest additions is five-star wide receiver Cam Coleman, while the offensive line has also been strengthened through the arrivals of transfers Melvin Siani and Laurence Seymore.
