Duke vs. Tulane Head-to-Head Record
The Blue Devils control this series 3-2 and currently ride a three-game winning streak, with each victory coming in decisive fashion including their most recent 37-7 triumph over the Green Wave in 2015.
Tulane has demonstrated its ability to compete with Power Four programs, evidenced by its dominant performance against Northwestern in its season opener, and it enters this matchup confident in its ability to deliver another statement victory.
Duke arrives in New Orleans following a disappointing loss to Illinois, and another lackluster showing would provide the Green Wave with an excellent opportunity to snap their current losing streak in this series and even the all-time record.

Duke vs. Tulane State Prediction
The atmosphere in Yulman Stadium should be electric and hostile. Everyone understands that NIL has changed the game, but that won’t stop teams in the Group of Five from harboring some resentment toward the teams that recruit their players.
Again, I believe that Jon Sumrall is happy for Darian Mensah. I also believe that there’s an incredible opportunity for him to show Mensah what he has left behind. His team’s off to a strong start, but they haven’t faced a team like the Blue Devils.
Darian Mensah had a ton of dropped passes, hope Duke cleans this up – NFL scouts are taking notes though. 2027 gonna be interesting. pic.twitter.com/oqro24OPix

Even with their struggles last week, Duke had a lot of self-inflicted wounds that can be fixed. Mensah should also be locked in for this one, and I expect an absolute battle between these two teams. I just think Duke’s the better team right now.
Prediction: Duke 21 Tulane 17
