According to Sports Illustrated, Nike said in a statement that this latest NIL partnership reflects the company’s support of the next generation of college athletics.
“Allar’s partnership with Nike reflects the brand’s continued commitment to inspiring and uplifting the next generation through partnerships, innovation, and storytelling that move the world forward through the power of sport,” the statement read.
Allar is one of many quarterbacks with notable NIL deals. He has played for Penn State since 2022 and has a 63.5 career completion percentage with 54 touchdowns and 6,519 yards.
Specifics of his Nike contract have not yet been disclosed. Still, the agreement is projected to raise his $3.2 million valuation, which ranked ninth among college athletes before the deal, according to On3, trailing only six quarterbacks. With the Nike partnership, Allar’s value could climb into the top five among QBs.
