How Did Clemson’s T.J. Parker and Aźyah Dailey Turn Their Campus Romance Into a Lifelong Match?

On and off the court, Parker and Dailey wear their hearts on their sleeves. Their photos say it all. Sweet, genuine moments that show how strong their bond is beyond the game.
Parker proposed to Dailey on the beach on May 4, a moment he later reflected on in an August feature, describing how special it felt.
“Proposing to my fiancé (former Tiger volleyball player Aźyah Dailey) has been my favorite memory at Clemson so far and was definitely my most important goal. Coach (Dabo) Swinney told me in high school that I could achieve every goal I want in life and outside of football. To be able to meet my future wife here and compete for championships makes this place very special to me.”
What Should Parker Do To Help Clemson Conclude The 2025 College Football Season On A Bright Note?
The edge rusher hopes to carry the joy of his big day into his game, using the moment as extra motivation as Clemson gears up to face Duke on Nov. 1 at Memorial Stadium in front of the home crowd.
Parker must summon his 2024 self to help Clemson (3-4, 2-3 in ACC) end 2025 winning all its remaining games against Duke, Florida State, Louisville, Furman, and South Carolina.

The five-game fightback begins on Nov. 1 against Duke at the Tigers’ friendly confines in Clemson. Now, Parker and his linemates need to pressure Duke quarterback Darian Mensah to commit mistakes, allowing his team to get on the board early and boost their chances of winning.
It is easier said than done, though, as opposing defenses had difficulty anticipating Mensah’s passes. He has only recorded two interceptions all season long and has passed for 2,211 yards with 17 touchdowns.
Clemson will counter with Christopher Vizzina, who went 29 of 42 for 317 yards and three TDs against SMU.
