The timing was perfect for Green. In 2023, he helped Boise State secure the Mountain West Conference championship and earned MVP honors in the championship game. After that success, he transferred to the Razorbacks for a fresh start.

As mentioned, Green isn’t the only athlete in the couple. Batista, whose main event is the 4×800 relay, is one of Arkansas’ top track athletes. At the Texas Relays, she ran a strong split of approximately 2:04.8, helping the Razorbacks set a new collegiate record with a time of 8:16.12.
For their professions and academic responsibilities, both of them stay busy. Their sports demand time, energy, and full focus. Since they are both athletes, they understand each other well and support each other through it all.
Green just finished a remarkable season that fans will remember for a long time. He threw for 3,154 yards across 12 games and rushed another 602 yards on the ground. Altogether, he totaled 3,756 yards of offense and scored 23 touchdowns. His ability to both pass and run made him a constant challenge for opposing defenses.
Analyst Greg McElroy had high praise for him, calling him “painfully underrated.” McElroy highlighted his strength, speed, and maturity. Statistically, Green had Arkansas’s second-best QB season. Only Ryan Mallett’s 2010 season was better than his.
