Alabama vs. Missouri Head-to-Head Record
The Alabama Crimson Tide and Missouri Tigers have encountered each other just eight times since their inaugural meeting in 1968. The series began with Missouri claiming the first two contests, including a dominant 35-10 victory in the 1968 Gator Bowl. However, Alabama has completely reversed the momentum since then, capturing the last six matchups dating back to 1978.
Missouri’s entry into the SEC in 2012 has increased the frequency of these encounters, with five meetings occurring from 2012 through 2024. As conference members, these programs are positioned to face each other more regularly within the SEC’s scheduling rotation, continuing to build this developing rivalry between two historically successful programs at the highest level of college football.

Alabama vs. Missouri Prediction
The Alabama Crimson Tide is looking to avoid riding too high into Columbia, as the Missouri Tigers will be ready for them and hungry for the biggest game on their campus in a very long time.
Alabama is coming off a win in Athens over a Georgia team that was favored to beat them, but winning big games is nothing new to the Crimson Tide. Missouri played very well in its last SEC game, a 29-20 win over South Carolina, in which it showed great determination in coming back from a halftime deficit.
The Missouri defense is built on the heels of two stellar edge rushers. Still, outside of that, the defense isn’t daunting or much of a threat to Alabama’s incredible passing offense, which has seen Ty Simpson get better with each passing week.

Look for Missouri to come out with a ton of energy and play a clean game, but then for the Alabama team to stand tall and answer every punch as it is thrown. Missouri has a high-octane offense, but Alabama’s overall execution and adjustments are likely to determine the outcome.
Prediction: Alabama 37, Missouri 27
